Above or Below

For inspiration, I'm switching between recordings of the piece "Invitation," written by Bronislau Kaper for the soundtrack of the film "A Life of Her Own" which starred Lana Turner. A well-recorded tune, covered by everyone from Lee Konitz (playing on my Spotify now) to Dexter Gordon, John Coltrane, Joe Henderson and Anthony Braxton.
