We met Scott & Mary while traveling on the Amtrak Empire Builder from Chicago to Glacier National Park in Montana. First, we encountered them as seen here in the Observation/Café Car. Then, per Amtrak's seating process, we randomly ended up seated with them at dinner (or was it lunch? no matter) in the Dining Car later the same day. Scott is a ballroom dancer -- a former champion-level competitor; now instructor -- and Mary is a long-time friend and former student of his. Mary is as quiet as Scott is loquacious. We enjoyed their company.
