Second Avenue at 77th Street. While sitting at Lenny's sidewalk cafe, enjoying a cup of coffee with the Mrs., this interesting character accosted us. He announced, "I am Dracula. I am from Transylvania." And, indeed, his strong Romanian accent attested to the fact that he might actually be Transylvanian. However, his presence in full sunlight had me confused. I bought him off with a buck that I asked him to promise would go towards coffee and not more firewater.
