Anybody But Brower: The Politics of Nasty

Dateline: Green Village, Chatham, NJ, November 2011
A local imbroglio. The candidate named on the sign, Mr. Brower, as in "anybody but," is the neighbor (across the street at least) of the man paying for the signs (Mr. Templin, whose name you can see in small print at the bottom of the signs). This "feud" has gone on for two election cycles. Can't imagine this makes for a friendly relationship.

Brower wants to plant a small organic farm which Templin protests. This is in the town adjacent to mine. I'm not sure who won this latest round of battle. Templin is not running for office himself. He just wants to be sure that his neighbor doesn't win.
