A mother and daughter taking in the Eugene Atget exhibit at MoMA. Based on overheard comments, they seemed very familiar with some of Atget's neighborhoods as they reminisced over days gone by. Atget's work has a certain magic that could probably make one recall places she hadn't actually seen in person, creating a certain familiarity of place that is palpable and easily woven into one's own real recollections.
